Sorry if this has been covered before but this is the only car I've ever had on a finance agreement.

I'm doing a voluntary termination on my PCP and have been told by BMW that BCA (British Car Auctions) would be in touch shortly to arrange collection of my vehicle.

My question is, from your experiences how particular is the inspection likely to be and what kind of things are they looking for on a three year old car? More particular the condition of the tyres. Is he/she likely to whip out a measuring guage? Mine are pretty close to the legal limit and I don't really fancy spending £800 on new tyres for a car which I'm returning.

Other than that the car is in very good condition so I don't see them having any other issues.

I'm not really sure what the contract says, I guess I'll have to try and dig it out.

It did have it's first MOT in September, the tester kindly mentioned I might want to change my tyres soon although they weren't low enough for an advisory. Guess I may have to get myself down there and get them double checked before they come for the collection.
