Dog Wagon Ideas
Discussion
Hey,
Looking for insperation.
Currently have a Merc C250D Estate and 3 medium dogs who fit quite happly in the estae.
One is on his last legs but we are about to adpot another one, collie x (we think) St. Bernard, who will be a bit of a big thing.
The current car might be a little to small for all 3 of them, so looking for ideas for what else to use.
Possible just to stick a roof box on the current car and stick him on the back seat, the other 2 in the boot, but thats not ideal.
I have around a 10-15k budget
Ideas are something 4x4ish (Wife loves pickups so maybe with a hard top) but other than that, I'm at a loss.
Cheers.

Sod the car..... I want to know how a collie x st Bernard works? My guess is there's some human intervention and a bit of man holding going on???
But...... If mum is the collie then that's got to be a bit eye-watering for her....
or
If mum is the St Bernard... how did the collie reach?
Either way, with the three dogs and one of them is a biggie.... how about a 4x4 VW Transporter?
Its an estimate guess that is crossed with a St B. He looks like he is but who knows and only 5 months old but big. And I dont want to think about which way the combo worked But...... If mum is the collie then that's got to be a bit eye-watering for her....

VW transporter is something I did think of but the wife hates the idea (no idea why). That said, she had zero say in the merc [url]
This is 4 months old (I think).

Audi Q7 with the third row down has a massive boot, same with the Disco 4 which also has the dropped tailgate which could be handy to sit on whist drying dogs etc. Can't remember but aren't there some SUV's which have a button in the boot which allow the air suspension to drop for easier access to boot?
Disco might be an options. Really depends if we get the hound or not. This is the 3rd apptemt at addpoting another dog (we already had seveal resuce) an its not fecking easy. I'm getting that annoyed with the process that buying another one is becoming and option, not something we wanted to do. Anyway thats a rant for another topic.
