Quick-ish estate for £4k

Hi all,

Long time lurker here.

I am after a quick-ish estate which meets all/most of the following criteria :

- Manual
- Less than 110,000 miles
- ideally petrol
- ideally 4wd
-good to drive
-ideally turbo for that torque and driveability

I have come from several performance cars, including fast BMWs, a Mustang, WRX, and most recently a Hyundai i30N which was fun but not big enough in the back, and i am after something a bit cheaper now as i am saving for a house, as you do !

I have been looking at Subaru Legacy's and Outbacks , particularly the Legacy 3.0 Spec b in manual, but finding one seems harder than finding a needle in a haystack at the moment.

I do like Subaru, and how they drive, and would like something similarly fun to drive.

I have also been looking at something like a Skoda Scout 1.8T, which seems ideal and i missed a great deal on one yesterday on eBay.

I welcome all suggestion, and thanks in advance !!

ZX10R - I actually contacted the guy selling the Legacy Spec b that you suggested above, but unfortunately it had sold !

Mondeos and Volvos don't do it for me :P

I think i'll keep looking for a decent manual Legacy spec b wagon to come up !
