I’m after a 2+2 GT with usable rear seats for teenagers. We've got a Hybrid Cayenne when all 5 of us need transporting.

Overall I prefer to spend my money on maintenance and repairs rather than depreciation. Budget is 45-65k. I find myself looking at ‘newer’ cars like the Maserati Granturismo, slightly older cars such as the AM Rapide, and then the older still Ferrari 612.

Does anyone experience of owning these cars, or have any opinion as to what else I should be considering?

Thanks in advance!

As the most modern car it probably makes more sense but I have owned a few mazzas in the past so the marque has lost its novelty to a certain extent. Certainly the Granturismo is the sensible choice which says something about the alternatives....

Thanks ZX.
This is what my head says too-would prefer the ZF. I know the MC shift is good but I hated the cambiocorsa transmission in my coupe so kind of wanted to avoid the MC.

I do though have a Ferrari sized itch and an AM one too, so its hard!

Thanks everyone for their opinions.

I think the GT Sport looks wonderful in Rosso Trionfale

I'd probably pull the trigger now had I not owned a Maserati V8 before and have a Ghibli V6 S as a daily (soon to go)

The Rapide I've lusted after for its elegant lines (and 4 proper seats). Plus its a V12. These two have been driven but history is full.

I'm in the camp that loves the 612's lines. It looks what it is- a front engined Ferrari 2+2 GT. This one has good history and I have an independent that knows his way around this and all the cars above.

I agree ZX the FF is epic. Out of my league -cheapest is £80k £20k cheaper than the next one. Quite a few come with ceramic brakes would have me petrified at MoT time!

The Cali is another car I like but unusable rear seats- a lot spec them as a parcel shelf.
This is a great colour and love the contrasting roof.
