Used MPV or maybe Small estate

We took a look at hatchbacks but unfortunately they didn't have either the low boot height or room for what is now 3 dogs. Mainly 2 dogs but sometimes 3 when on holiday.

So we are looking for an MPV maybe small estate which has good avg MPG 40+ , Low boot height etc Totally happy to consider a diesel or petrol

We went to see a 1.9tdi touran 2005 and it looked ideal but the one we saw was a bit ropey and mega miles 145k

So ..views on the following Diesel or Petrol ( good mpg please )

Mazda 5

Peugeot 208/308 SW

Seat Altea

Toyota Verso

Vauxhall Zafira

VW Touran

We have adjusted the budget to £2-3500 k

Sorry but just dont ike the berlingo and my daughter who is going to share the car doesnt either

The reason we were looking at 7 seaters was that we could go as a family of 5 plus 2 or 3 dogs and also with the back row down it gave a lot of room

The reason we were looking at a touran is that my young daughter will be sharing the car and she found the touran to be ok in size. Very briefly we saw a Mazda5 and S-max and she thought they looked much bigger so didn't have the confidence to drive them ?
