Matte Paint

Hi - i'm just about to put an order in for a new car (via salary sacrifice). Its a Genesis GV60 and the only thing left to do before pulling the trigger is decide on colour. My wife likes the metallic grey and i preferred the matte version. My question is, has anyone had / got any exoerience good or bad of having matte paint.

(Nb -i did add a comment on the GV60 post in the EV section, but realise that its somewhat limited my reach as far as responses so i thought i'd go with a stand alone post)
