Would you buy a Mitsubishi ?
Discussion
Hi PHers,
I continue looking for a medium SUV car for my parents. I have come across the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross.
It ticks a lot of their boxes but I am not sure on two aspects, reliability and parts availability and prices.
I seem to recall that Mitsubishi have historically had a good reputation for reliability of their 4x4s. Does this reputation still apply to their newer cars ?
The second worry is the price and availability of parts.
The Eclipse Cross did not sell in big numbers and Mitsubishi pulled out of the UK market in 2021.
Does this mean that availability of parts could be an issue in the future or where they are available, exorbitant prices, as the car gets older ?
Would this put you off buying one?
