2.5L 986 porsche boxster insurance at 18

I’m 18 years old and have almost been driving for 1 year. I have no claims and have used a black box throughout the year currently driving a mini one 2009 insured by Adrian flux.
I was wondering what insurance would be like for an 18 year old considering these things on the boxster as I’m hoping to buy one soon. I did some quotes on it and got offers for £3k. Does anyone have any experience with this in similar circumstances? If so any advice is much appreciated

I had one for about 18 months and parts and servicing costs made my BMW M240i seem reasonable by comparison. They can easily run up big bills.

I understand that, however my idea around getting the car at this age was based on the fact that I don’t have almost any bills to take care of and I make good money at my job and which I’m aware it would be far wiser to save or invest the money but I want this Porsche and I’m willing to put most money I make into it
