Probably fine with that, only the full hybrids are delayed I believe, my mate got his delivered in about 6 weeks.

Impossible to say, who knows if there are just guessing lead times, have confirmed build slots or are playing it safe but for lead times to go from 8 weeks to 8 months they must really be having problems.

A couple of people over on the deals thread stating that their GT line HEV are going To be delivered soon and have been contacted by their lease company to arrange, I’ve not heard anything but interested if this is true.

Something very odd going on here then, people still getting told delayed until November and others being told delivery very soon!

Loads about, my local dealer had over 20 sat in their compound last week waiting to be prepped, no hybrids coming through though! No updates on mine and not heard anymore about those who were suddenly told theirs were about to be delivered.

My dealer for the same car (GT Line S only difference) is still saying November and I ordered in March too. Did you think yours was going to be later but came in earlier?
Was originally told June, then November, then July.

It’s arrived! Only issue is that it has come with 631 miles already on the odometer! Dealer is ‘Investigating’!

What spec is it? Initial impressions? What has it replaced?
1.6 GDi HEV GT-Line

Replacing a Volvo V60. It’s pretty good, missing (or will miss) a few features I did have such as heated seats, powered tailgate etc. will also take a while to get used to the rotary gear selector. Not found a good seat position yet and they are nowhere as comfortable as the Volvo, not wide enough for me.

Dash is very good, even with the main dash not being a full screen it is very seamlessly done. Apple car play will be useful, never had that before.

Going to save a fortune in fuel too, old car was around 28mpg, after 50 miles this is at 48mpg.

Interesting choice of car to swap from, how do you find the Kia from a road noise and general ride comfort perspective?
Pretty awful if I’m honest (compared to what I am used to) much louder than the Volvo on the motorway, struggling to have a conversation with rear passengers. Seats are very uncomfortable, not wide enough for me (I am 17st though!!!) and the suede material in the centre of the Gt-line seats makes you sweat!

Fuel consumption on a work commute is a huge improvement, getting around 46mpg whereas used to get about 28 in the Volvo. Not a huge difference on the motorway, get about 39mpg.

Still loads of little niggles/annoyances that I haven’t got used to yet but I’m sure I will, only done 350 miles in it so far.

Thanks for the feedback

I can’t wait to get rid of mine (but I’ve still got it for 28 months frown )

Customer service from KIA has been awful (brand new car delivered with nearly 700 miles on the clock)

Seats are not comfy for me (I am a big guy)

Sat nav is awful

App to send sat nav destinations to the car only works half the time (I use this a lot)

I miss features I previously had, my fault, should have paid the extra for the GT Line S

Had a problem with the active air dampers over the cold weather

I find the main car controls screen toggle between media and climate annoying, I want one knob to do temperature and one to do volume without having to constantly change screens which can be tricky while driving on bumpy B roads.

Anyone else having issues with front parking sensors randomly going off all the time? Never had it happen on a car before.

Also keep trying to change between drive and reverse (or vice Versa) while parking without my foot on the brake (previous cars allow this) and have almost crashed a few times as I was not in the gear expected.
