What are those black things in front of the front wheel for?
Hi Jamie, they are designed to gather the air as it tumbles of the front clip and guide it down the side of the car into the side scoops .Have you done anything to the area behind the scoops (the air that goes in seems to just hit the rear wheel liner)?
wow, almost pro work
its bin a long time ago since I sprayed wheels of a car (back in the good old days )
but then I did no more then sanding it then spraying 2 or 3 layers silver-paint out a can and that was it...the result was euhm...not so good but the wheels look a bit better and euhm silverish again
so respect for your work, I guess thats why they ask around 50 a wheel if someone else does it for you.

Hi Rene , each wheel has had 2 coats of primer flatted between each coat , 2 coats of satin black again flatted between coats then 2 coats of acrylic gloss laquer !!! If they bloody chip after that lot they can get stuffed :-) :-)
that looks like a good finnish there tux but why use satin then laquer??Edited by TuxMan on Monday 24th January 21:43
is it tougher than just using a gloss black??
Wanted to use a separate lacquer for a high gloss finish never find with gloss paint I get such a good finish , satin is a good hard finish and if you flat between coats you don't get a orange peel effect , amazing what you can achieve with Halfords aerosols !!!! The secret is in the lacquer. And prep work !!
