Only an Evo driver would say that. [/quote]

Nope defo wouldn't expect anything else. For that tho might have to bring wifey's scoob too now.
Oh no please dont do that as the Noble would be much better and usually I find that if you get two scoobs driving along together its not long before there's a whole flock joined in the procession

Any one would think this is a run wot u brung not a noble meet
New to this forum, picking up a GTO3 next week. Owned an early GTO in 2004 and offloaded because of big bills, but missed it so much, had to get back in the saddle at some stage.
Would be up for a meet, but can't get to the bottom of the thread, whats the plan.
Where, when, who and cost. A full update would be appreciated

I'm not really up for the whole track day thing, but think meeting up there having a couple of laps and a chat then taking in a hoon in the country side is a great idea!! Especially as it hasn't been done properly since Alex sorted the one in Nov 2006.
If this is what people want then i believe Matt has said we can meet there and have a couple of laps for free.
So at present its just a case of setting a time that everyone wants to meet and deciding a route for the hoon afterwards along with somewhere to end for bite to eat. I don't mind sorting the times out with Matt etc. However, I haven't got a clue about where to take the hoon or where to eat. I would do the organising but i'm doing 12 hour days minimum for the next 2 weeks at work so wont have the time.
I will be driving up in the morning and I'm not sure what hotels are around there for people to stay the night before.
Alex, are you still up for this if it stays as a meet and a hoon and not a track day?
James

fella's,
Just had an email from Matt to say that the 27th is all good. So what time do you all want to meet there?
He gave me some advice on where to take the hoon and has suggested a 22 mile stretch of country road to OAKHAM. Apparently it has good views over RUTLAND WATER and there are plenty of pub's. Obviously we could extend this but I think it sounds like a good idea.

As for the route, maybe it's best not to be to specific "on air"?
Mike.
