Ford key shame?

Lol yes i really am not a fan of the "crown" logo but it works with the form of the fob.
Yeah the Portifino blue version is the best...obviously!
I think i'll sand, primer, sand, primer, colour and spray them with a couple of layers of lacquer. I haven't really thought that far ahead tbh.

UPDATE
Right chaps I have the got the prototype done. (I just have to check the fit in the ignition with the cover in place).
It is curing now and I've been an bought some paint from Halfords to finish it in Portofino Blue tomorrow. I'll then post up a few pics and further info.
Thanks for all your interest I'm pleased to see a mutual hatred of the standard key!

Thanks for all the posts. Photos of my finished fob project below.
I am glad not to have to look at the Ford key anymore! The key fits in super tight with no play and there are 3 snap fits to hold the 2 covers nicely together. As this is a 3D printed part i had to try and remove some layer and support material marks but there is a trade off between sanding and life! It has a little hand finished charm which I like. I decided to keep the circular logo as the rectangular logo didn't work with the form & keeping the profile slim around the key, and the overall aesthetic was more important than the type of logo IMO.
I finished it with a Portofino blue metallic paint. The process used is below:
-CAD Model, 3D Print, print finishing and curing
-a wet and dry rub
-3x plastic primer coats with a fine grit sand after each coat
-3x metallic paint coat with a fine grit sand after each coat
-2x clear coat
If other owners want their own version i'd be happy to do this in any flat/metallic paint (from Halfords). The cost for this would be £25 per item and would include choice of paint and secure postage with it's own plastic pot to avoid damage. If you want just the plastic part to finish yourself I can do this too for £15. Feel free to PM me or create a list below and i'll get in touch.
It has been an enjoyable project and I think i'll look at the dash air vents next!

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.
I absolutely do not have too much time on my hands! I do however enjoy little design projects like this so I end up making time at the expense of other things! I can't imagine how Andy did the carbon body!
I'll give the list a day or two more then send out some messages to people who have registered an interest.

I see everyone requesting lots of different colours, have you offered/ intending to paint each one for everyone or are they voting for a colour for them all to be?
I would be interested in a couple if possible... no idea what colour I would want, something bright maybe
