The usual suspects - Le Mans
Discussion
The story currently is that Ash and Obes are not yet sure whether they will have to race their new toy over the Le Mans weekend. Both appear to want to go to Le Mans but need to complete so many races in their series to be able to race at Spa in the 24hr (I think that is the general problem). They do not think they will have made up their minds this side of Christmas.
Therefore, Obes is not a great bet to organise our trip for us ! Richard has joined ClubMS and has booked himself and myself (and Louise) in from Thursday to Monday (12th - 16th June) as before. He did this on Friday. We are likely to get the same ferry (0700hrs Speedferry from Dover to Boulogne and back on the 8.50 Monday night).
I am not sure of the price for the ClubMS but I think that Speedferries is the only discount for groups available and that is not huge.
Therefore (again), get yourselves booked into ClubMS before it's to late and then we will see if we can pick up a discount on Speedferries in the next couple of weeks if we can get (I think) 5 cars on the same sailing. If people want to make their own way there and we all camp together then so be it.
Obviously it would be smashing to see you all again !
The list so far looks like this:
Erictheaardvark (Richard) - In his friends GT3
Erictheaardvark's friend (who is not Adrian with the bad back at the moment) - GT3
Stillgrinning (Ian) - TVR Tuscan RR
Loopylou (Louise) - With Stillgrinning

I've just started planning a 6 week trip to India for next year, and as soon as we've decided what we want too see we will know when the best time is, I'll know in the next couple of days. I want to go, but I won't be letting it spoil my trip of a lifetime...
Martin.
It's hardly the trip of a lifetime.......you went last year, and you know the best time of year to go........12th to 16th June........ I am sure there is a curry house somewhere nearby, if not Chinese on the Mulsanne straight ?Martin.

You wouldn't get a big motorhome throgh those gates Paul...it'll have to be Transit sized at best.
M.
I seem to remember that there was one on site last year, bigger than a transit but smaller than a bus size. I am sure it would be alright as long as you get there reasonably early ? It's not as if you will be taking it in and out twice a day.M.

You should be booking your place at Club Motor Sport independently and then considering how you will be getting there. Myself & Lou, along with Richard and his friend, are booked in and I think booked on the same ferry crossing as last year.
Ash & Obes are definately not coming
Jules is wavering (I think)
Lawrence is getting permission
Greg says he is coming
Worty says he wants to
Martin is waiting till he has booked his summer trip to India
No idea what Chris is doing as he has disappeared up his own a*se laterly
I think that covers most of the usual suspects.
You are, of course, most welcome to join us if you would like to ?

When you've all decided what you are doing, whoever is coming, you are all of course invited to the annual BBQ chez nous on the Sunday or Monday (depending on weather/hangovers).
Pictures from last year anyone? That'll get people in the right mood!
The Aston will be history and something shiney will be on the drive (Rossion anyone )

That would be great (without checking with anyone else first). Probably depending on the weather it is likely to be early Monday lunchtime if that is convenient. I think we are on the 1710 out of Boloygne (or however you spell it) so a bit earlier than last year.
I had a look for photos but only have a couple of videos which may be of interest to some people.
Currently (as you see from the thread above) we have no real idea who is coming but I am sure that we will have a better idea by breakfast on the day we set off to meet you !
Ian
Personally I would rather do it on the cheap again so to speak. As much as I enjoyed being out of the rain last year I don't want to feel that I have paid a vast amount for a seat and then should be sitting in it when I am at Arnarge or Mulsanne.....or anywear frankly (sorry but it's just before Christmas and I can feel "Ba Humbug" creeping in !
