- Can the car be specced with cross-climate tyres from delivery

- Just how small is the boot?
It's not small at all. Why do you think it is? Plenty of YT videos you'll find with reviewers showing how big it is.Flibbertygibbet said:
- What is the rear legroom really like?
Not the most generous, but again you're best off looking on YT for reviewers who have demo'd it. Flibbertygibbet said:
- What is the state of play with the charging networks in the UK now, are they still overfragmented? I know I will be able to supercharge however for using other networks eg the chargers at Lidl, Ecotricity etc, is there a single accountcard that can be used or do I still need to be a member of loads of different charging networks?
You don't have to join any of them. Networks like Polar have an app you can download then you can just put some credit on and use them as and when you need to. Can you charge at home or are you planning to make a lot of long trips? On the charging question: I think it does not get better than a EU spec model 3.
You get access to the Tesla "supercharger" network, but the car is also compatible with pretty much everything out there. If you can also charge at home or work, you should be sorted.
In doubt, try sticking your typical drives into https://abetterrouteplanner.com ...

It looks in all likelihood that I will be ordering a Model 3 in the not too distant future ......
Have you seen if any model 3 are on display near you???https://www.tesla.com/en_GB/model-3-on-display
Ok so I cancelled my reservation after 3 years and 2 months in may this year. In the last few weeks since talk of cars arriving in a few weeks it's got me rethinking my options.
I am bored of my cheap lease Scirocco R that has 8 months remaining and asked them for early termination price and that came in this morning at £1000. Not bad I think.
I then look at lease costs of model 3 performance and they are rather attractive, approx 2k down and £530 a month.
My question is this, I'm looking at the price of the performance upgrade on top of paying for the performance model and thinking actually, I like the idea of a performance car with aero wheels, in black. Rather stealthy I think.
I just look at what's included and think actually, I'm never going on track with the car so what's the point.
Am I mad?

It's the one I'm getting, no need for the pup things.
18" wheels are quieter and nicer ride
I think I'll submit some enquires now, thinking 2 year lease, 12k or 15k p/a around £500 a month.18" wheels are quieter and nicer ride
I could buy, through ltd company too, but I see this as dipping my toe into an EV daily driver rather than committing to a 50k debt.
After 2 years I reckon there will be some impressive EVs out given the current rate of development and advancement.

If you're buying I think the performance pack makes sense for an additional £3700 as you'll likely get a decent % of that back come resale. If leasing over 3 years you'll likely have to pay the whole amount through the term so an additional £100 or 20% a month on top, which doesn't appeal I agree.18" wheels are quieter and nicer ride

I actively don't want the 20s or lowered suspension MagicalTrevor said:
Has anybody actually managed to get a lease quote? I’ve been trying to get a lease quote for a Performance model (non-PUP) and they say they’re not able to quote right now.
I’d like to know how much and then I’d place an order
I've submitted an enquiry to pink car leasing via leasing.com. Who did you contact?I’d like to know how much and then I’d place an order

Has anyone had a sensible insurance quote yet. Last info said parts and replacement times hadn’t been issued yet so into the £1000’s
550 from direct line, which is not much more than my shed. Standard range £819
Long range £1067
Performance £1274.
For context I pay £380 on a 2018 Scirocco R.

It’s mostly repair costs. And postcode likelihood of someone bashing into your car.
A valid point, though my postcode is one of the cheapest I've ever lived in. I'm going to have to wait until cars hit the roads, prices may change somewhat then. Definitely holding out for a few weeks

When I played around with the lease figures on Pink car leasing the monthly figures went sky high when I used 15k miles.
