If you can convince them, you may get a 48h test drive. Which is rare nowadays.

They sell the car with a 7 day 1000mi returns policy too which is a long enough test drive.

We are off to London soon and want to test drive a Tesla. However I am led to believe that the test drive is only 15 minutes.

We would want to go to the Westfield place.

Does anyone know if it is possible to wangle a longer drive? I cannot think that 15 minutes will allow me to make a decision about the car.

I must stress that at this point I am relying upon research my son has done. So apologies for anything I’ve got wrong above.

Many thanks.
Any chance of you going to Chiswick? We had a test drive there - admittedly over the quiet Christmas period and we went for a decent drive around town and up the M4.

Having now driven the Model X I am not overly excited about doing it again. The car was OK and probably better than I was expecting, but I don't think it was good enough for the money and the charging infrastructure is not far enough advanced to be viable for us at present.

Model y is probably a better idea?

On the basis of price?

I’d say price and more importantly size. The model S and x are just ridiculously big for this country.

Would be interesting to see how the Y compares to the 3. We've been very happy with the P - a few blemishes that weren't picked up at PDI but apart from that it's been great.

I've got an X as a courtesy car - feels like a couple of generations older than the 3 - can't wait to return it.
