I’ve got a white model 3 coming and will be wanting to chrome delete. Found a good kit here: https://teslabros.com/shop/chrome-delete/

Will also want to change the wheels to black, but can’t powder coat at it’s a lease.
Any suggestions on where to get some similar rims in black?
Want to go for this kind of look. (Think these are OEM)

Be interested to hear what additions or changes you've had done.

Thanks phunk, good suggestions on the refurb, will check with guys who does my wheels that it can be done.

On the kit, my local company wanted £550 which seemed steep, so thought I'd have a go. It’s 3M vinyl, which would be the same as they would use, just already cut to size. Have watched a few vids and looks straight forward enough. Will post an update if / when this car ever arrives! smile

On the wheels, I'd worry about them being 'right' after being refurbed to black and back again so be wary as you could end up with a huge bill when you hand the car back for a full set of OEM wheels.
Agreed, this was my concern. Seems like a lot of the guys in the States go for these..

I like the TSS and TST's as retain an OEM look. Not sure how easy they are to get in the UK though?

Might be an opportunity to get some winter tyres as well? (budget creep I know..)
Just found these guys.. handy.

£2.5k with tyres? eek

Maybe refurbing not such a bad idea after all. smile
hmmnn. looking at the configurator now and the wheels are dark.. wonder when that changed?
As my car is yet to be delivered, maybe I am in luck.

They changed the wheel colour 2-3 weeks ago I think.

I'd recommend center console wrap too, easy to do.
Cool - think these are way better. Agreed on the console.. it's quite hideous. Saw it compared to a chip fork on another forum smile
Edit - think I'm confusing the console with the dash trim. But, yeah, have wraps for both..

Yes. If you've got a car turning up soon (like I hopefully have) I expect it'll be on the original silver wheels though.

You can never be sure though, all part of the Tesla lottery! smile

On the centre console, are their any decent quality clear wraps? I like the look of the gloss black but would prefer it to be easier to clean and remain scratch free.
looks like performance models in the States are being delivered with the darker wheels now.

I run Stance SF03 wheels with the OEM tires in summer and obviously like the way they look. They're also forged and so quite a bit lighter than the OEM wheels.

Looking good bow - definitely prefer the dark wheels in this colour combo.

Your car will be delivered with what was ordered. When I ordered mine, there was a performance and performance upgrade. Prior to it being delivered they changed the model (AGAIN) to only offer the performance upgrade. So you can't now get the stty 18s on the perfomance model. I thought there was a slim chance I was getting the 20s. Well...stty 18s for me.

Also, black the only free colour, now pearlescent white.

I really did get an ugly spec on an already ugly car.

Have had quotes to wrap it much like this video. Only issue is, it's a 2 year lease so really not getting value out of it so unlikely to pull the trigger.

Btw, re: painting the alloys, as someone who's leased 6-7 cars, I'd be quite comfortable getting them painted to match the cars now coming out the factory with dark ones and just say it came like that. Like the guy from the BCA would ever know. If I had the 20s I'd 100% do that.
Cool... I do wonder if my car has even been 'ordered' yet. I signed the lease agreement with the company 3rd October, but have no acknowledgement or email from Tesla at all, no account nothing.
So still live in hope for the dark wheels smile
