Snow time soon...
Discussion
I recently sold my Range Rover as I hardly used it - I am now relying on a Model 3LR for most driving.
I am not sure I've ever driven it in snow and it's quite possible this winter that I might need to.
All wheel drive, heavy... torque vectoring... should be fine. I wonder if any on here have thoughts to share on slippy conditions in a Tesla?

Why is it owners of electric cars talk such rubbish? The best 4x4 in the world vs a milk float

At least in those temperatures the battery will go flat before you get too far from home.
Do Range Rovers never get stuck in snow?https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cuxkwLccmEY

I am pretty sure AZ has owned multiple Range Rovers, so may have clue what he's talking about - particularly Vs someone who says 'milk float'. Stupid comment.

I’ve owned loads of JLR products, mostly Discoveries and they are brilliant in snow with the right tyres. They also have the terrain response system which has been developed since the D2, unlike the Tesla which is just rubbish.
Why come on to a Tesla thread to say they're 'rubbish'.I've had multiple JLR products too - so what?!
Pathetic.
I agree - I've had cars from Lamborghini, Aston, Ford GT... quite a few. And yet if I have a Tesla, despite owning other cars, I am no longer a fan of petrol. I assume the same applies to you AZ - despite multiple Ferrari's, Astons etc. You have been judged by the driving gods!
Funny to ask a question about a Tesla in a Tesla thread and get others jumping in who've never owned one to make their little 'milk float' comments. Bit sad.

Only thing that’s sad is you’ve owned all those great cars but didn’t understand what made them interesting or what drove the people who made to make them in the first place.
Funny thing is I probably do - having driven at Le Mans a couple of times. But you stick to popping up on Tesla threads to display your great knowledge as it's hilarious.Pooh said:
I did a approximately 100 mile round trip yesterday on country roads up to St Fillans in Perthshire, the snow depth varied between about 3 and 8 inches and it was sub zero the whole time. The car coped very well on a set of Pirelli all season tyres and I had no problem getting where I wanted do go including up and down some pretty steep hills.
Efficiency wasn't great due to the temperature and plowing through the snow but I didn't have any range anxiety.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks, I have had it for 3 months and 7500 miles and I am delighted with it.
Good to hear... I am nearly 30,000 trouble free miles into mine (also red).Hopefully I won't see any serious snow this year, but I was curious to know how Tesla 3's perform. Seems from everything I've read that they do pretty well.
