Will hopefully sort out the awful 'upturned-lips' ugly front end. Better batteries and motors are welcome, as are better seats. I'll need convincing about the lack of stalks and the fully-electric 'steer by wire' though.
Currently a '22 LR owner (well, 18m into a 36m lease). If it looks to be a step on I'm interested in a Performance one of these next.

The rear AC is a pain in the arse to control in the current one. It never sems to be doing what the rear seat passengers want. At least with their own controls they can set it without me needing to continually fiddle with it for them from the front. I generally like the changes and at the moment it's the most appealing thing to swap my current LR for next year. However a few 'improvements' move the car away from the spec I'd like and currently have. They centre around the changes to respond to the aledged criticism over noise and harshness. So the suspension has been softened and raised slightly and the standard fit Michelin PS4s have been changed to a Michelin Primacy in order to reduce road noise. The outcome will obviously be reduced grip. Also, the Primacy is a lower speed rating which means the LR will now have a 125mph speed limit V 148. Having hit the current limit fairly often it's not a change I welcome.
So I guess I'll have to wait and see what changes the performance will have when that's revealed. Hopefully if they've softened the SR and LR and aren't bringing RHD Plaids here they'll take the chance to widen the gap between LR and Performance 3s to differentiate the models more.

That would be in line with previous model steps. I wonder if this is a bigger 'step' than usual though. They've reduced the other Model 3s but this feels like they've tried to distinguish it further from them by not just calling it a Performance again.At £60k I'll be ordering straight away.
