Yeah he seems to be a decent and down to earth guy. Refreshing because considering the cars that he owns he must be doing financially very well.

Thank you! I'd very much like that. First new car in years I've wanted and annoyingly it arrives just as I'm unable to justify the outlay!

Indeed, that guy appears to have quite a mixed garage, and interesting cars too. Some interesting thoughts on the GRY, especially since he shot the video whilst running in his GRY - he may change his mind once he is able to 'open it up'.

EDIT: Realised that this chap has the Standard Car (RZ), not the Circuit Pack (or RZ "High-Performance" version), which is probably why he states that the suspension is 'soft'. Given the type of aficionado he appears to be, and what he has in his stable, I thought that he would have gunned for one of the RZ High-Performance First Editions.

The Spirit R is the standout for me.

Makes me miss my FD.

This needs further interrogation “You have two Supra’s?”
We do! It's actually how we met each other, through the owners club. We both got ours in 2002 which seems like a horribly long time ago now but the cars have been phenomenal and we couldn't part with them. Hopefully he feels the same way about me!

He did say about suspension that they are soft in town but they will be harder in highway. Maybe he is a tuner and that's the reason why he bought standard car.

Indeed, he seems to tune some of his cars - there is one video where the GRY is parked up alongside an AE86 (Hachi-Roku, I think) that had been modded the hell out of, so you may be right on that score.

Also, if he would want to build a drift car he wouldn't want to have LSDs getting in the way, so that maybe another angle. Either way, it would be interesting to hear this chap's take once he has run the GRY in, and had the oil and filter changed, which I believe was going to be his next step.

I’ve mentioned it on the other thread but Toyota motorsport is based in cologne, judging by the underfloor modifications this is possibly in preparation for racing.

Hi,
has anyone got a delivery date on a none circuit pack car ?
I ordered mine back on 7th March as it will be a daily driver I went none circuit pack (hoping this was not a mistake)
When Toyota introduced the convenience pack a couple of weeks back I upgraded as the extras, mainly the JBL and HUD will be handy. The dealer has given me a delivery of January and just signed up to the my Toyota app and it’s showing that my order is “ being processed “ so at least the factory have my order.
Was hoping to get it this year but but after waiting since March a few more weeks won’t matter.
(Actually that’s not true I can’t wait)

Now that has quite the aero kit, and I would be willing to cancel my Circuit Pack for that, but it would depend on the outcome of a cost-benefit exercise as to what one would get over and above the CP car, and at what price versus how much it would cost to retro-fit these upgrades.

Looks like a complete aero package is in the making...even the undertray appears to have sprouted additional fins.
