Thank you.

Do these service intervals look correct (not for the car above)…

Mar 2021 delivery
Nov 2022 - first 12k service
Sept 2023 - second 12k service

I assume these cars don’t have running in services like the BMW M cars etc.?
Servicing should be every 6,000miles or annually whatever is first.
Well that kills that one then - why on earth do people buy these cars with a service pack and then don’t get it serviced correctly bangheadbanghead

(thanks for all the responses)

Would you buy a new one I had an email from Toyota saying they had some cancelled orders?

If list price they will be around £35k new dependent on colour. I recall the red and pearl white (and perhaps the black) were a bit more than the plain white.

Have you seen a red one in the flesh yet? The metallic doesn’t show up too well on photo’s. They are lovely but I’m biased smile

The last price was £35,500 + paint for a circuit pack. Pearl white and red just under £1k extra, black about £600 extra. Last price rise was July ‘22 iirc. Finance deal is no longer 0 (2 years) or 1.9% (3.5 years), though.

I think the price offered now is still as above.

This will only work if you’ve been emailed. Discussed elsewhere but they will take your details and if you’re not on the waitlist you will be declined.

Ahh I see, you got the email from Toyota offering new ones but you can't afford one and thought you'd ask here whether you should buy a new one. Makes complete sense.

Hold on get your facts right. I didn't ask for starters. Someone else was considering a used car circa 10k less than a new car so I asked if they'd consider a new one to share the email I've had from Toyota in the hope it would be helpful. Don't worry I accept your apology

Fitting the rear mudflats.
I picked up my red one last week and found it so frustrating how flat the red looks in photos compared to in the metal.

Had it for 100 miles but its at the detailers (AutoWaxWorks) this week, pick up again tomorrow. My other car is a B9 S4 Avant, both 4WD with similar 0-60 but they feel so so different in the way they do it. The GR has much heavier steering even with the audi set in its heaviest mode.

The figures for the finance on the cancelled orders are really high. I wonder if Toyota will have the same issue they have shifting the last GR86s?

The finance rates are still some of the lowest in the market.

That looks lovely.

Thanks to you and everyone for their help. I’ve done a deal on a used one, so will post up pics once I pick up !!! Very excited, first time I’ve had a white car too!!!

I noted my one doesn’t have mudflaps, is it an easy retrofit on front and back?

Good man, well done!!
Re flaps, I've had fronts only since Day 2 and very easy and good at lessening stone chips to those fat hips, I believe rears need a little drillage, but I prefer the dirty arse appearance!!
Enjoy it.

Red is very light sensitive and it's hard to capture in pictures. In reality it pops in most conditions.

The finance rates will definitely have impacted on the cancellation rate.

Great decision, well done. You will love it!

Going back to the ‘red’ discussion, I test drove a red car in December 2020 on a really dull day and the colour was really disappointing. Having seen it in better light and in pictures, I think it’s a great colour and would possibly be my preference now. Having said that, they also look great in black…..and white!
