To pick a random comparator (from my back catalogue), this has a better power/weight than a RB5 (PPP) Impreza. 203 v 195 bhp per ton.

Indeed, and the bits wont fit a regular Yaris I expect, it isnt German either so much less of a worry than the 4wd turbo VAG stuff, anything fast can go walkies but see this as a less risky purchase from the theft angle.

1260Kg divided by 1.26 = 1 tonne
260BHP divided by 1.26 = 206BHP per tonne

Great comparison - turbo, AWD rally hero converted for the road.

The 3-pot should sound pretty fantastic as well. I don't think I'd want anything more than that amount of power.
