One less makes the others worth more. Wonder if they inspire too much ‘confidence’

Just need another 24,995 crashes, give or take a few and there be none left.

It’s easy to be in a corner 10-20mph quicker than what you probably should be so when it goes wrong I imagine it will be quite messy.

I wonder if it's anything to do with the rear axle torque being decoupled when the handbrake is pulled.

A lot of Quattros were smashed in the early 80s

For some people it will be their first fast 4wd car

I just cancelled my GT4 build slot due to a number of factors -might end up back there in a year or two. Would I be mad to consider one of these as a replacement weekend toy?
It'll never be a replacement for a GT4, but I would say you've really got to want one to get the most out of it......it's not really a car to just follow the crowd like a Porsche.

Are dealerships jumping on the flip bandwagon as well, not even available until April but likely ragged about for a hard 750 miles! £39,995. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324445999724
Available from April 1st? Gotta be a joke surely.

It looks like a few smart ones got cars to flip but then everyone's tried to jump on the bandwagon. There's 7 GR's available for purchase right now, prices are slowly dropping and I'm not sure they'll be able to find buyers for them all. Especially as everyones delivery dates draw closer!

That’s a ridiculous price for an ex-demo, they’ve got zero chance.
You would think so....but theres always (more than) one idiot out there with more money than sense. rolleyes

Shameful behaviour by a dealer!
Representing 14 brands across 46 dealerships, Listers Group Ltd is England s largest family-run car company. We offer a great selection of new and used cars, vans and light commercial vehicles with nationwide delivery.
Every Porsche dealership in the country does it, no body seems to care......even VW dealerships whacked a few grand on UP! GTis when they were on long delivery. However VW spotted the issue and whacked a few grand onto the OTR price for the second wave of cars.

Dealers usually have to keep demo cars on for 3 months, never understood why they advertise them so early but they do.

I wonder if Toyota will do the same.

I've had a few demo cars in the past but there is no way on earth i would buy a demo of this particular car. Just due to the amount of unsympathetic full-bore standing launches they are probably subjected to. If you are going to spend good money on one why buy one thats been f*cked by a load of other people. If anyone is going to f*ck it up its me hehe

Hmmmmmmm...0% finance for 2 years? Where do I sign?

The real question is, does it have heated seats?

They have to make 25 road cars by the end of 2022 to meet the regs. As I own a GR Yaris I assume I get a test drive and offered to buy the car or is it for only owners who also own a GRMN????

I've had a three ex-demo cars in my time, never had any issues with any of them, my low mileage (around 1000 miles) Porsche with a private owner had more minor issues to be honest.

I understand there is only one seat. However, it is heated (by the previous driver, but may be slightly wet as well)

I see Benno has listed his standard car on Facebook now. If that was a circuit pack car that would have sold long ago.

Yep 90 days seems to be the standard.
If you can manage it the trick is for your dealer to not register their demo and keep it for you.
I had this with my Civic FK8 which made me one of the very first private registered owners in the country.
I'm quite proud of that fact. smile
