I quite like the latest trend of gold/bronze wheels. I’m not sure gold would look great on the OZ rally wheels though. I think they have to be white.
Quite a few people getting cancelled orders. My Toyota dealer said this doesn’t happen, when an order is cancelled the queue gets shorter by one! It doesn’t really seem fair that you can phone up today and get an order for before the last ones are being delivered?
Not your fault of course.
Valid point - I guess the downside is I couldn't choose the specification but as luck would have it, it was exactly what I was after (they didn't know what I wanted so don't think it was a dealer tactic).Quite a few people getting cancelled orders. Got bored, booked a test drive, got an email saying they aren't doing any! If Tesla can why can't they (for the entire range of cars)?
No dealership should be doing test drives. It also falls under non essential travel. creatzz said:
Snagged a canceled order yesterday, Circuit pack for November delivery. Dealer told me new orders are delivering May '22.
Thoughts on rally wheels? Would probably go for a gold set for my black GR as never been a fan of black on black.

would be fun to wrap an approximation of the Marlboro TTE cars white accents too, just for pure obnoxious value

Could it be a showroom car? If they have sold out not much point in keeping a car sat in the showroom forever - or a dealer being sneaky to stop the sale going through another dealer?Jester86 said:
Got an email from Toyota, got all excited that the car was going into build.
Was just an email saying make sure to download the MyT app to keep track of the order.
Thanks Toyota it wasn't as if I hadn't done this back in November when I placed it!
That is a good sign that the process has kicked off, you'll likely see your build start in a months time. Was just an email saying make sure to download the MyT app to keep track of the order.

No dealership should be doing test drives. It also falls under non essential travel. Tesla are fairly unique in the way they operate with selling cars, it’s all direct, with no franchise network I believe.

Me too (17.00) so checked my my app and it is still showing 'processing order' but I think the next stages have changed, i don't recall seeing build location before (Toyota City (Aichi Prefecture) Japan)Was just an email saying make sure to download the MyT app to keep track of the order.

from the email, promoting the app
"In addition, you'll also have access to Hybrid Coaching which helps you optimise your driving and improve fuel efficiency, ensuring you can get the most from your Hybrid."
This doesn't seem relevant for us so will the GR come with rally coaching? top tips on hooking the front inside tyre off the edge of the tarmac on your favorite B-road, best line for a jump, Ai co-driver etc.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Guy with the blue wrapped GRY from yesterday, waxoyl'ing and fitting some beefed up anti roll bars and springs.
Only in Polish, but some might find it interesting... and the music annoying...

Just like the chap did in this vid. Anyone buying a half interesting new car like this I’d 100% get it properly sealed up underneath with something decent from ACF or built Hamber.Only in Polish, but some might find it interesting... and the music annoying...

It could be one of the last of its kind.
Would take no money at all (in reality) to get ACF50 in every nook and cranny and top it up once a year.

It's essential if I need a car.
Is a test drive in a brand new car essential though? I can certainly see why it would be advisable to have one in a used car. When I buy new cars I always know exactly what I want so for me a test drive is not required.
I have bought my last 4 factory ordered new cars without a test drive and have been delighted with every one of them.
