RAV4/Lexus NX PHEV

I’ve had a look around but can’t see much on the forum about these cars. Has anyone had a go yet or own one?

Really wondering if it can compete with the similar priced main stream luxury brands. After something comfortable and quiet above anything else.

Thanks for the info, it seems reviews focus on the extra performance of the PHEV against the self chargers at the moment, not many give a realistic review of the RAV 4 as a daily driver.

I'm hoping to get a back to back test drive of both lined up soon as the dealers are about 50m apart on one road.

Interesting and good to hear. What car do you drive as a daily to compare it against?

Was that the PHEV or the self charging one?

I do suspect longer journeys on the motorway will be a weakness of the pHEV especially considering the extra weight and reliance on the petrol motor so much.
