Passenger side mirror not folding
Discussion
Hi Martin
An easy fix if you want to undertake it, however your car is under warranty, so do you need to try?

Here is a photo of the actuator, you don't need to remove it from the body as in the photo. The parts that needs lubricating/spraying with PTFE is between the parts where you can see the original grease. I gave it a good dose and operated the internal folding button half a dozen times until it worked much faster. It's a common fault on later Clio's I'm told.
To get to the actuator gently prise-off and remove the glass, then you can push off the outer casing from the inside, it secures in two places. The body of the wing mirror is secured to the actuator with only one self taper, if I remember.
You can pm me if you need extra info, I live in the Midlands if you want help.

So new mirror fitted under warranty, folding perfectly. Great service from Martin’s as usual and nice coffee in the waiting area an extra bonus!
Looking at Renault cars, loved the blinged up Alpine special editions!
The Clio Esprit Alpine is supposed to be quite a nice car overall. The seats are fantastic and while it's no RS the 205Nm of torque and reviews of it being quite nimble don't sound bad at all. I recall an Alpine owner having it as a courtesy car and was quite impressed. Looking at Renault cars, loved the blinged up Alpine special editions!
