Think it was number 98 but could be wrong.

If it was mine, I’m glad it went to a good home.

Hey Schmed, my very own PH stalker..
Glad someone has declared him as their own - many of us feared he might be theirs.

Ha. I’d not heard from Highway in ages, was getting worried given the morbidity rates for his age group wink

Will leave you Alpine folk in peace.

The lord be praised - if he is to be believed. But I fear somehow that you may be reincarnated under a another nom de plume.

I’m not sure you know what age group I’m in. A lot of the stuff you’ve posted has made me wonder “how old are you” though wink

Thanks to this forum, I'm now taking more of an interest in this car. I wasn't a fan before but I'm getting there. Jayemm loved it, the suspension especially, and he is supercritical when taking a view of a car against his Lotus Evora. I also understand that Gordon Murray, he of McLaren F1 fame, has got one.

Hmm!

Very easy to spot though. Attention seeking troll who is not even any good at trolling.

And, as has been pointed out on more than one occasion by Blade7, he was only part of a team that designed some car in the nineties so what value is his opinion.

It’s not as though he’s ever been involved in Formula 1 where handling is fairly key.

In fact who is Gordon Murray ?

Quite..

and the first UK owner was a chap called Vic Norman, friend of Murray's, a serial 911 owner and ex 250GTO owner. This article was quite interesting actually....

I think you must have me confused with someone else. Highway I know well from the Porsche forums, and the Alpine owners here like BCR are always passionate about their cars and generally a fairly civilized bunch. I've no idea who you are though...

There's a well known PH'er who owns an Alpine as well and his back catalogue includes a 911R. I think he is also a classic car racer so I assume he's a true enthusiast. From what I gather he rather likes the Alpine and still owns it.

Another owner, James May, is just some travel documentary TV presenter type person though.

To be fair to Schmed I think you are confusing him with
Simonbamg/ [someothername]/Gitwhoismiserable/Sidewaysdiv

Simonbamg changes his name to one similar to the last forum person who has shown Simonbamg to be an arse.

Don't think Schmed is a lot better to be honest. Though at least he doesn't think changing his name is vaguely funny so have to give him that...

We should be flattered Simonbamg wishes he was us.

You are doing a good job on this forum by the way Simonbamg - you know how to contribute FA so will give you that.

While we are name dropping let's add Nick Mason and Rowan Atkinson to the list of owners.
