I know there are a few guys on here that track their cars regularly and I wondered who you use for track insurance. I've done something like 250+ track days over the years and have never really bothered before, but I'm thinking I'm only tempting fate by not insuring a nearly £60k car for the 10-15 days a year I'm out on track.

I'm thinking of getting an R26 as a track-hack and just keeping the A110 for 'special' events. Not sure if that's a brilliant or terrible idea!

I use Moris, been good to me so far.

Also agree with you, I'm very tempted to only use it on special occasions and get a dedicated track toy.
Do you get unlimited track days with them? I've been with a few companies that only include 5 or 6 but I'd want more than that. Still thinking a track-prepped R26 Megane is the way to go though...

I use Moris too. You just pay per track day but can buy in block for a lower rate. They don't do combined road/track policy.
It should work out at about £200 for a £60k car.
£200 per day I’m assuming?

That's amazing value ; although perhaps it's part of a combined road/track policy.
The quote for me (for what it's worth) was £600 for 5k miles/year. Plus £59 for each track day

I used Moris for the last year on track and the premium for the Alpine for 8 days on track was £1117. Just got a new quote for 9 days on track and it's come out at £2022!!!!

So far I've tried Footman James (won't insure with TDs on the Alpine), Flux (no TDs as part of a road policy on the Alpine but awaiting a quote for just TDs). Will give Classicline and REIS a call in the morning, but are there any others worth calling at the moment?

My friend used A plan on a combined road track policy. He claimed and it was painless.
They're on my list to call tomorrow
