My car is due at the dealership in just over a week - very excited as you can imagine. In terms of seats, I went for the 'standard' ones rather than those in the Legende as I'll be tracking the car and don't really like leather seats in any case. However, I've just had a couple of days in demo A110S and my back is now really sore. The seat was set in the middle position but ideally for me I need it in the lowest - I couldn't get comfortable at all. Aside from this my only previous drive was about an hour or so in a Legend, in which I could obviously set the seats low, and found them fine with no discomfort at all.

Has anyone else found they've suffered with back pain with the seats in the wrong setting but then been ok once the height is set correctly? I'm fearing I'm going to be selling the car before I've even taken delivery!

Not so much the height change, but my body just adjusting to the seat took a few weeks, then I found it really comfortable.
Did you suffer from back pain too?

Yes, let's hope that if they're set in the lowest position it will help you. Remember there are two places of adjustment, front and back, so ensure you know what suits you best. Default setting is middle of the three holes.

Probably an obvious comment is to contact the dealer in advance to warn them to adjust them to your preferred height before collection...!
It's not a 5 minute job, and the frustration of having to wait on the day (assuming the workshop has time to do it) would be unbearable!

Enjoy the handover...!
Cheers, CliveJ.
I've asked for them to be set on the lowest position but is it possible to have them more reclined? So, lowest setting at the rear and middle at the front? Not sure that is exactly what I want/need but just thought I'd ask in case anyone knows

I have a Legende as I found the standard seats to narrow but even with the comfort seats I,ve had back pain after a couple of hours journey could do with a bit more lumbar support also feel my right foot is bent to far back when on the accelerator, or might just be a age thing ??
I wonder if there is something that could be done. (off to investigate Sabelt lumbar support...)

www, what stitching are the seats coming with? Blue?

I have the comfort/non-bucket seats in mine and I've been looking for a set of buckets to no avail. If all else fails and you can't get comfy, I'd gladly do a swap!
Yes, blue. I'll bear that in mind, thanks

Could some of these Sabelt's own cushions be helpful to somebody?

Thanks for the update. Just a thought, now you know for sure it's the lumbar support that's lacking for you, have you looked into this: https://trimtechnik.net/interior-accessories/lumba...

The problem isn't the brackets, it's a combination of the seat and the car. The car has a 'hump' in the floor so although it may appear as though there is a good couple of inches between the seat base and the floor of the car, the hump stops the seat going any lower. Obviously you're not going to cut the hump out so the only solution is to find a seat with a thinner base, such as a Tillett. Or do what I keep thinking I'll get round to and buy another seat and have it trimmed with a thinner piece of foam in the seat base
