Anyone placed an Order for the Taycan yet?
Discussion
Yes £5k for an additional theoretical 35 miles sounds like absolutely brilliant value, particularly seeing as those 35 miles are probably more like 20 when doing fast-ish motorway speeds. In a few years time all of this stuff will seem low in any event or chargers so frequent that it doesn't really matter so not sure the used market will be all that excited about it regardless. And because it's sold at a premium primarily on the back of company car tax benefits, it will probably depreciate quite hard as the next buyer will not be able to avail of those benefits. Similar to let's say the i8.

feels like an i8 mk3 to me.If Porsche did this car when the i8 came out yes, good, but today it's already out of date and no ones got it yet.
only buyers seems to be the tax benefits in kind owners.

Much like a Panamera, but a bit less headroom.
I’m planning on using mine to replace both my R8 and Model S. ionien that I’ll lose some luggage space, but really hope that Incan fit two child seats in the back and a reasonable amount of luggage in the boot.If I can then the Turbo S looks to be perfect for what I need, and making the switch will leave me with some cash in my hand.

What is a Taycan offering over a Telsa S if you choose the base model ?
with range and power down on the Taycan even if you spec the BIG battery on the 4S , the Tesla walks all over it on every bit of spec.
why the hype ?
I'll take range, performance and load space and £40k in my pocket if |I were in the market.

Actually, no, I’m very disappointed. Aside from the serious issues that mean I’m now in a legal fight to reject it, the quality was just not there. Fit and finish were poor, the “vegan leather” is obviously plastic and the packaging is awful. For a car the size of an S7 the interior just wasn’t spacious enough.
I still appreciate what Tesla have done to make electric cars mainstream, but I never again want to spend just under six figures to find that I’m a nepeta tester of software that was far from ready to be rolled out.

The training starts on the last week of October in Majorca. I leave on November 5th. I've already got a list of things to find out on the physical cars from customers. Let me know if you need anything else finding out
If its not too much to ask i'd like your thoughts on the RAS and Panoramic roof..I currently have both on my configured Turbo but very undecided..I really like the double creased roof on the standard roof yet see the benefits of a glass roof for rear passengers. The fact it doesn't have a retractable blind makes the glass roof less appealing. The standard roof definitely looks better from the outside but the glass roof also looks good, particularly with dark colours for some reason!
I’ll let you know on the rear wheel steer soon as I’ve only driven cars with this option so far and have nothing to compare. Hope the above helps with your decision.
And the Taycan? It’s epic! Whoever has ordered one won’t be disappointed

Does anyone have finance figures for the Taycan yet? - PCP or repayment....
Thanks
Yep Thanks
Turbo £127k
£15k deposit
48 months
10k miles
£1457
Balance: £67,350
4S £102k
same as above
£1192
Balance: £48.925
6.9% APR
I am shopping around but the residuals are fairly crap...understandably as in 4 years there will be much better electric cars on offer and this tech will be truly outdated (yes I know some people think it already is )

I’ve got Nov lockdown for March delivery. How’s that work! Don’t want until April though.
What did you spec?
My code is PLI5GXB0What did you spec?
I will take mine 1st March on the new reg...
See you didn't opt for the 150kW DC booster to allow faster charging when the network is developed. Dealer strongly suggested this option. Also see you didn't go for performance battery so probably have different usage in mind to me.
