Front bum warmers are included, you only have to pay to have the rears as well.

We did a round trip of 263miles in our Taycan 4S in the last 24 hours and arrived home with only 19miles to spare.! This translates to a real world range of 282miles on a mix of A roads, Motorways and city driving albeit hardly any with AC on. The bad news is we found the public charging network extremely unreliable both in locations and usability. Our hotel claimed to have charging docks which were both out of order. We also attempted to charge on the way home however the 50Kw one was also out of order so we risked going all the way home which we did with 19miles to spare.
Taycan is a brilliant car to drive however the UK's public charging network infrastructure is archaic and in need of immediate and substantial investment.
Well coincidentally my dear old mum lives a 280 mile round trip from me. This was one of the things i had in mind when I was buying this car. If I go up I tend to stay overnight so I at least have the option to plug in for a trickle overnight.

The range is pretty decent based on what you achieved and it mirrors some of the YouTube videos I've been watching. Real world Porsche are being conservative, which given the VW diesel scandal isn't a surprise.

Too many reports of poor infrastructure are still a concern though, that really does need to be addressed.

Lots of posters adding £4k extra on wheels yet sticking with the standard interior and seats?

Each to their own of course, just surprised.
Funnily enough once we decided on buying rather than leasing we too another look at this.

I'd gone with the standard interior because I liked the black/chalk beige combo, it goes nicely with the Cherry metallic. Even if I upgraded I would still be going with the same colour combo so it's the best part of £3K for a dash and door tops in leather as I understand it. Our dealer couldn't find any other differences.

The seats however, we've now uprgaded. We were going with the seperate memory package but then discovered if you have standard seats it didn't include the electrical adjustable steering wheel or the mirrors as part of the memory package, which seemed a bit daft.

So I'm now going with the sports seats and upgraded leather, in Black/Chalk.

The wheels. I'm not a fan of any of the wheels, the 21" version are the least ugly IMO. I was toying with the idea of speccing the base wheels at 19" with winter tyres and buying a set of something nice for the summer, but after a while I reaslise it was a bit daft and I'll go with the 21" wheels. I don't like the diamond cut face though, I wanted them all satin gray so may end up getting them refinished.

I actually prefer the Mission E wheels which are only available on the saloon.

This is where I'm at now:-

Ahh thanks for that, at least it makes it a little more worthwhile for the upgrade.

I didn't like the 20's once I saw them in person and much of the wheel was "filled in".

Have you had to firm your spec up yet ? If not , do you know when ?
It's suggested September-ish is our cut off for spec.

It's nice to see real world deliveries. I'm looking forward to seeing one of these in Person.

Tonbridge said they'd be getting one in later this month/early next month.

Just for info, the standard 8 way seats + memory package was what we were going for.

This doesn't include electric steering wheel adjustment or mirror adjustment linked to the memory package as far as I can make out.

You need a seat upgrade to add both these "features".

Happy to be corrected, it was one of the reasons we went with a seat upgrade.

I see you've added the 22kw AC charger option?
I was looking at this also.

I'm waiting on a electrical survey of my house to see if what looks like a three phase incoming power is actually three phase. I was a little excited at the thought of having a 22kw ability to charge at home but then noticed it's another £1200 option on the car

However, if I do have three phase but don't go with the option of the 22kw AC, I'd still be charging at home at 11KW, which is just dandy.

I'm more inclined to option the 150KW DC option for £294 just to future proof the car in case that becomes a "thing". I'm less concerned about fast charging at home than I am fast charging when on a journey.

I'm trying to find which option to select to give me the wheel finish I want.

In the Porsche video that appears on You Tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3iVQDqIoTc&t=... at 3:28 you get a close up of the wheel in a satin finish, no polished bits.

Does anyone know what the finish is? All I can seem to find are non black or gold finished that have highly polished front faces.

Option: Wheels painted in Vesuvius Grey
I wonder then if on the configurator this is a typo. It's the polished front face I want to get rid of. I'll have to get this clarified with the dealer.

the reference to highly polished face only applies when adding the option with the 21" Taycan Exclusive Design wheels.

for the 21" Cross Turismo Design wheels, the whole wheel is painted

That really is an option you would never select.
Well I am, I don't like diamond cut laquered wheels, or black wheels either. I was tempted by the gold though.

I'm also most likely to go with the green now. I really like the spec of the launch car in the Porsche video - but I do like bright bold colour schemes. Life's too short to be completely monochrome IMO.

Mamba Green with vesuvius satin wheels, but a 4S rather than a Turbo S.

Sticking with Chalk Beige Upgraded leather and sports seats.

TBH, it looks good in most colours so just personal preference. I do think the standard colour wheels look better than paying to make them grey though.

That's my order now in...

Only thing spec wise I battled with was Sport Chrono but I just felt I had to draw the line on cost.
Colour is such a very personal thing. I wouldn't pay for black wheels, but grey or gold I would.

I struggled for a while with options, like you was trying to keep it under £100k but once we'd decided we were buying these and keeping them for a while rather than leasing we figured we may as well just buy exectly what we wanted.

This is where I am.

On the public charge cable, can you not just but an off the shelf cable, rather than going for a porsche one and getting ripped off?
Probably, but if I was really that bothered about being nickled and dimed and shouldn't really be looking at a Porsche to start with.

The options gouging is their forte.

Is the back supposed to be half black on the bumpers.
The configurator is having some sort of brain fart when you add surround cameras. It started a couple of days ago.

It also shows roof rails despite the fact they aren't selected.

Well that's odd, they still show as a cost option either black or silver.

The pan roof doesn't say they are included but the picture suggests they are.

Something else to double check. If they are included I don't want them silver, so no doubt that'll be another £400 to change the colour.

I have pan roof no rails on my spec, I've emailled the OPC to confirm but have just got an out of office reply.

No rush, I'll likely not have to nail down my spec till September anyhow.

Just placed this order as a company car, this is the code:

Wondered if there’s anything essential missing, trying not to go mad with the options as it’s not my car.

Thanks
If you're budget limited you just have to make a call as to what's important to you. The reality is all the extra stuff is just stuff.
