I have read elsewhere that there is a huge disparity between what different dealers are quoting.

Some are insisting drainage checks are mandatory, whilst some are not.

I’ve seen figures quoted between £400 and £1,200 from different dealers.

I’d be interested to know what people have paid at different dealers.

Two years/20,000 miles

Seems there are various components to this that some dealers insist are mandatory and without them the warranty won’t be valid if there are any later issues.

These include drainage hole checks. Removing and replacing the wheel liners to check behind them.

Checking the tyre sealant is in date!

The part costs are:
Pollen filter
Brake fluid
Washer fluid
Tyre sealant if out of date.

Pretty sure I only want the brake fluid and pollen filter option to this.

Colchester, Tonbridge, Brooklands and Bournemouth have been the best quotes I’ve seen.

Porsche dealers have some of the most expensive labour rates going, especially in the south.

This article from 2017 had the Reading OPC charging £234 an hour, which would goa long way to explaining a £1200 for what looks like very little.

Right. You get a premium car, you pay premium prices for accessories, parts and labour.
The question is not the premium price but the £800 variance in quotes for first service, some are quoting for additional services some less.

What does this gutter and drain inspection involve? Lift the bonnet and sweep a few leaves out. £800 sounds about right for that.
Remove and replace the wheel liners and open some drainage holes. I suspect doing this will cause more issues than it prevents.

2 years or 20,000 miles – brake fluid replacement, pollen, and air filter replacement, wiper blades, and windshield wiper fluid checked.

The additional costs are drainage checks and removing and replacing the wheel liners front and back
