One odd thing in the press kit is the cargo volume has two different values: 1807 dm3VDA and 2085 litres. Never seen that before. For comparison the biggest estate I know of (superb) has 1950 litres but I don't know which method was used to measure that.
I've often wondered about luggage capacity claims. Some cars appear to have smaller boots than their figures suggest. If it is based around the maximum liquid volume of the area behind the seats, then it isn't necessarily a lot of use.I've never tried filling a Superb estate boot, but the Octavia estate never appeared as big as claimed, compared with other cars.
Is the Superb significantly bigger in the boot than other large family estates?

The VDA method uses rectangular 1 litre blocks, would be interesting if all manufacturers quoted this, seems significantly smaller than liquid volume and is more realistic. Nobody puts bags of liquid in their boot.I've never tried filling a Superb estate boot, but the Octavia estate never appeared as big as claimed, compared with other cars.

The Superb has a much larger boot than an A6 or E class.

Just been in the local dealer. Car seems great but there's a 6 month wait apparently, which is far too long for me/us to wait with a baby due in the next fortnight, taking us up to a family of 6. Shame really because the car seems ideal for a family bus.
Isn't it the similar with other manufacturers if you order a car at the moment? I thought I'd seen online that there were some Joggers available for immediate delivery, maybe that is just to get people interested? Vidarr said:

Bought ours home for the weekend, the more time I spend in it, the more I really, really like it. The best Dacia so far TBH.

I'm looking forward to having a look at one, pretty sure I'll be getting one next year (depending on the next Duster and Bigster), ideally I'd get a Dacia Spring too if they decide to bring them here at some point Bought ours home for the weekend, the more time I spend in it, the more I really, really like it. One in the showroom was a 'Moonstone Grey' (it's silver) comfort, which looks nice. Only difference between that and the extreme is it has steel wheels, no heated seats, and no Nav.
Drove an extreme in the terracotta. Surprisingly nippy for a 1.0. Gearbox and steering are very light. It's not as basic as i'd imagined. removing the rear seats is a doddle.
Only trouble is, I really wanted an 'iron blue' one, which is not available in the Extreme guise.
I might have to go for the silver. Pre-order slots will deliver May/June. After that it's September.

That's the colour I've gone for. Comfort doesn't come with the rear trays either does it? And missing a couple of speakers, and the front parking sensors. I thought it was well worth the £10 a month extra. One in the showroom was a 'Moonstone Grey' (it's silver) comfort, which looks nice. Just heard from Dacia Derby after chasing up, car isn't expected until early September.
Bit annoyed as pre orders were meant to be delivered in May, which I thought would give me plenty of time for our holiday in early August even if there was a 2 month delay. Guess I'll be taking two cars now.

Nope. Only option was the colour. I asked at stage of order if a particular colour would make it quicker to deliver, thinking he might say white is produced is greater numbers, but dealer didn't know.Is it like with tesla if I add an option it bumps the build priority a few months

I posted similar in the other Jogger thread.
I have the 100 bhp 3cyl 999cc engine in my Duster and even fully loaded up it does 38mpg in stop start gridlock London traffic, 45 to 50mpg on a run and even hit 62mpg driving carefully and cruise on 50mph on the motorway for a 120 mile trip.
Had it since Feb '21 and have done 10,000 miles.
Pretty good for a petrol and I'm heavy footed and never get the mpg quoted by the manufacturers.
