When was the engine rebuild done and by whom?

Engine Rebuild

Here's the invoice with the details:



Rebuild was performed by Offord Motor Company (independent SAAB and TVR specialist) with the assistance of TVR Power in December 2009 @ 23,784 miles.

From the invoice details:

"Dismantle engine as necessary to enable removal. Strip down engine and inspect. Replace main bearings (+10) as crank had already been reground, big end bearings, and timing chain components, rebuild with new head gasket and reassemble, refit to car and test. Engine very tight, tested over a period of time but did not improve. Remove engine again and inspect, dismantle and send crank and rods to TVR Power for inspection, crank checked and new rods and caps supplied, rebuild and test. Engine still tight, dismantle again and inspect, supply and fit another crankshaft, rebuild and test, all OK."

Other details from questions asked so far:

• The car does have air conditioning which works well
• Exterior colour is cascading violet blue and interior is grey (not sure the name though)
• Clutch was replaced 7k miles ago in 2017

• The shocks were fitted last year

• Ceramic coating was added at the start of August. It's Infinity Wax's Synergy 2 year coating

Looks like a lovely example, would be tempted but never a fan of flip paint.

Do you have documents showing the build date? Or only first registered date? Curious regarding the 25-year rule for import to the US.
