Hi. It appears that the car does not have air conditioning fitted. Is that correct?

Beautiful car.

According to the overview, the car is missing 10 years worth of servicing history (2014/2024). What happened there?

I originally bought the car for two reasons:
(1) because I rated it as the best of the 911 Porsche series of cars, it is beautiful model and I love the air cooled engine. It was a retirement present to myself.
(2) I recognised its investment potential, as an appreciating asset
As you will see, I covered very few miles in it, oil changes etc revealed fresh oil! And when it went in to Porsche I ensured that the whole vehicle was checked over.
I am now 79, my driving days are done, I still think it is an incredible example of the Porsche marque, but it time for a like minded owner to take over its care.

Hi

The car appears to be in a very good overall condition and according to its low mileage, but of what it is mentioned in its last MOT:
"Rear Oil leak, but not excessive. Engine has signs of slight oil leak"
Any ideas of why that could happen at such a low mileage...?!?

I queried this with Porsche and was told that minor “oil sweating” was quite common on these engines it is not enough to form a drip just a surface smear. Consequently I was uncocerned

ThanX

You are right, I have a '93 911/964 Targa Florio with identical engine that developed that "oil sweating" but at very much more miles than yours...!!!

Good Luck with your sale; it is a beauty... I will keep an eye and see if I can afford another one...!!!

Cheers

As regards to the MOT, did you replace the tyres or does it still require a new full set?

Thanks,

J

I have questioned this with Porsche, the tyres still have +7 mm of tread on them, the cracking in the tread is minor, not dangerous, replacing them would be an unnecessary expense, however the cost of a new set could be negotiated upon final sale of the car if the purchaser so required.
