You'll have to wear a helmet to go on track. I'd expect all the people doing the rides to have helmets for passengers to borrow, but you might prefer your own (if it meets whatever standard is required of course)

Anyone know what time it starts? I'm only 30 minutes down the road and would love to pop in, but I've got to get to Milton Keynes by the evening

I've just booked my tickets. Quick question, if I want to go out on the track in some of the cars, should I take my (bike) helmet?

Never been to a car show before, I'm really excited...

If you have your own crash helmet I'd bring it with you (nothing worse than someone else's sweaty helmet)

Oh and latest news is that it is unlikely that GTM will be bringing the Ballista.
but there will be Libras and Spyders in attendance.

see you there !

Don't care about the Ballista, I just want to see the Libra

I'll bring my bike helmet then. Should be up to their standards - its a gold certified bike helmet so I could use it on all tracks if I was riding a bike IIRC...

So excited - new Jag launch this weekend and then TKC next weekend!

Blag a ride in Pete Osbourne's Blue VVC Libra. That is how you build a Libra!

One more quick question (sorry)

Can I pre book rides in cars or is it just a first come first served on the day type thing?

Thanks

If Brands Hatch is anything to go by it will be first come first served.

My advice would be to get in early and find out where you need to sign on as a passenger (Normally Race control) Do the neccesary form filing and collect a wristband then go and chose which cars you want to go in and arrange for your rides.

It did get quite busy just before and after lunch but got quieter at the end of the day.

Looking at which manufacturers are going to be on track it should be a great day.

Hopefully the weather will be good !

see you there

Unfortunatly, I will have to leave by about 3pm. I'm not too fussed about going out in cars other than a Libra, I just want to look around. The chances of me getting a Locost are slim to none, and GTM's seem pretty expensive but everyone I know says they're ugly/not good looking. I need to see one in the flesh/metal/GRP/whatever its made of...

Ugly? Libra? I'd like to see what they drive!
I bet their wives are stunners as well!

Well the most recent one to say that drives:
-BM 645Ci
-AM Vanquish
-AM DB7 Zagato
-S1 3.8 Lynx E type...

So er....I think that makes your point void...

-BM 645Ci...........Pig Ugly
-AM Vanquish........Disappointing
-AM DB7 Zagato......Ugliest AM Zagato
-S1 3.8 Lynx E type.Not my sort of thing

I expect the Libra isn't expensive enough for them............ sounds like that old syndrome we know and love.

Fair play, but i wouldnt have thought the 6 series driver would be bothered about looks...on a par with one of those Lexus things with moondiscs for wheels.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... but a minger's a minger. Admittedly I think the Libra's colour coded grill looks a bit, well, wrong, but painted black it works. But you can't seriously say the whole car is "ugly"?

Well I have tickets, although I've been tasked with working the sat nav system (which has a 74 page manual!) so we could end up anywhere

looks good, I think I'll come and have a look around. Anyone know if there are any owners clubs attending or is it just manufacturers? Just to clarify, am I ok just turning up and paying on the gate?
