I'm loving it! The whole concept looks a great deal of fun! Brillo work Italo, prosume you are going to try and get the droop out of the screen or is that just the light reflecting.
I have some headlight units (see Atomic) which may look neater, they cost me about £50 each if you would like a set.
You can sleep for days now. I hope your happy with it. You should be. Stiggy

Woooh pretty good Italo well done! Hope the show goes well for you. Let us know what people think. not sure what I was expecting but yeah not at all bad.

Ours is quite different to yours, unfortunately we've been a bit side tracked lately on other things but hopefully when we get back onto it we should be sorted fairly quickly.

Thanks Stuart.........smile........I had to study the screen and worked on 4 different models, because a completely round and convex shape in polycarbonate, distorts the front view........

This shape is a mix of convex and flat, and works great without distortions.

It does look like a droop, but it works and that was my goal, also because the rake of the screen is almost impossibile on a production car........I could get a patent on this shape....biggrin

Lighting units could be slightly modified for production, like a few other parts of the final shape...........I'm so tired that i will need a fe days sleep in a row.......I'm too old for this stuff!

Thanks qdos....smile, I hope the show works out for all of us, but I funny and telling story happened yesterday at the show, while my partners were pushing through halls the threewheeler to the stand.........all the bystanders were shocked by the concept and two englishmen stopped them asking info, one of the two wanted to buy it right on the spot!!!!!!!! you guys are brilliant, you can tell early on if something is worth it.......smile

A few of my italian friends that had a preview, wanted to know if you could stick in there a Ducati engine?????!!!!!

Thanks Mike.......smile, a few interested people who had a preview, couldn't believe the concept of a 3wheeler was worth a second look.....

In Italy 3wheelers are only Ape Piaggio clones, as you well know......frown, anyway the final versions will be diferent at the rear, and wanted more of an exo-skeleton look on the sides....maybe an option.

Cheers mate
Italo

The electric will hopefully come.....but our second version will be an LPG version, due to potential demand for it, using exhisting and simple technology.........we're looking into electric and are having mixed opinions at the moment, but it is my goal to have 3 different engine powerplants.

It will have a tilting fully enclosed canopy.......this was more of a show version.......the summer is coming and the sun is getting hot in Italy........

Been discussing your project with a biker colleague. If the air intake is on both sides how about a BMW boxer or Guzzi V.

My mistake, its not a droop in the screen, just that side shot threw me. Water should blow off without a wiper to an extent, but if registered as moped in the U.K it requires no wiper anyway.

That's great.

If you can get it past UK type approval/SVA I'll have one. Be better with car-type tyres rather than motorbike ones.

Lovin' the trike with only one or two reservations. Don't like the headlights they unfortunately look like an afterthought and I think spoil the front.
Also not sure about the chassis area around the shoulders. This may be just the angle of the photo.

The lights issue may already being addressed.

Just my tuppence worth, although this does come from someone who can't draw and hasn't got the balls or expertise to try for himself.

Overall tho' I love it and can see people actually wanting to build/buy one. You guys can now justifiably go and get some sleep. Don't sleep to long tho' will be hungry for updates on any developments.

All this is making me impatient to get ours finished now too!!!! It's quite a bit different to yours Italo but that's no bad thing. Hopefully we'll do as good a job as you've done on yours, you deserve a pat on the back for having the balls to give it a go. Hopefully you've had as much fun as we been having here.

Sadly the more I look at this electrickery for a motive force the more I am inclined to just graft the back off a scooter onto the trike.

It might not be green, but at probably a fifth of the cost to the build it is a long time before that impacts the RoI.
