Cycle wind stays for Escort hubs
Discussion
I've got a nice mk2 Sylva Striker which I've been bombing around in for the past few months. I'm looking at lots of bits I want to improve and the cycle wing mounts are now top of my list. The car has (I think) MK2 escort front suspension, with the Striker inboard rockers.
Is there a decent way to mount the wing stays/brackets? They're fastened into a couple of bits of tube badly splat welded onto the hub assembly at the moment. I say fastened, but one livened up my journey home yesterday by flying off.
I've seen some for Cortina and Sierra hubs that pick up some existing bolts. There's not much on mine though, unless it mounts on the caliper bolts? Any solutions out there people can share?
