Nice car - I wonder if he has managed to refit a Coventry Climax engine.
May have to get tickets!

More like a type 37 engine, or even a spare type 35B May have to get tickets!

I was going to say that there was a clue in the title, they are trying to replicate the BARC right crowd and no crowding, however it appears some tickets are available, but at a no crowding price.
A bit of in car for you from my MGB. Would have loved to have run the Grannie and given Rod and Will some competition. Those Elites are a bit quick for 1216cc

I found another good photo of Ivan Dutton's Mk2
(source Caferoadster.com - I think the photo was taken by Ben Samuelson).
There appears to be details of the history on the winscreen - I assume it is AUD10 0 ex John Woolfe 7/C/ 238. Ex Factory lightweight. However the post by Richard above says John's car was registered 1226 RO is this a different car. The old 'Grantura registry ' refers to a Mk2a also being raced by John Woolfe 7/C/345 ( originally Grey). Is 1226 RO still around.
Arnold Burton was a partner in John Woolfe racing so I guess John may have had access to more than one Grantura.
Anyone read the history on the windscreen!
Rob
Picture from Klaus Witzig's Grantura site. Mallory Park July 1961.
The photo show Keith Aitchison's car with modified bonnet and the Grantura with twin stripes. The registration is very faint but could it be 122- --. Is this the 'other' John Woolfe car.
The other Grantura is parked next to the Research Garage pick up - is this the Oakes Richards car 1886 UE.
