Hi Rob

Forgot to mention that Charlie Harrison did mention the name of the chap he sold the Grantura to in a letter and it looks like you are correct. He referred to him as Johnson, not Johnston, but it was a long time ago!.

Thank you for confirming - there couldn't have been many MGA TC engine Mk1's in the NE.

Hi Chris, this white Tuscan V6 belongs to Peter Rogalski from Rheda - Wiedenbrück Gremany …
Greetings Axel
What was the original UK registration does anyone know?
According to the TVRCC, the Tuscan was originally blue, RHD and had the registration FNN 301J. Thanks to Mervyn for the details.

Anyone know where the care is now. I recall it was in Germany at one point, but I also seem to recall it came brace to he UK a couple of years ago. Or am I imagining it?

Roger Cooke of the TVR owners club had one many years ago, not sure if he completed it as he was seriously ill not long after he acquired it.

@All,
The car is in Germany and I am the owner.
There is only one car and two scale clay models (one is still in the UK and one is in the US) produced by Specialised Moulding Ltd (SM).
More pictures: http://tvrpre80s.de/?s=zante
Roger Cook was one of the previous owner.

Good news! Have you managed to make any progress with the restoration?

Not really. I buy some of the missing parts and try to get a complete picture of the history. Before I start a parallel restoration, I want to be finished with my Trident Venturer project.

One made in Bristol the other made in Bristol Avenue
One no longer in use
Other going strong and used
One first flew in March 1969 and the other first rolled out of the factory in November 1969
One was the first passenger supersonic plane
Other was the first long wheel based TVR
RIP Concord may the TVR go on forever
