Pre 80's TVR Meet at Crich Tramway Museum
Discussion
What I was told
" If you are bringing a pre 80's TVR, you will have to become a TVR Car Club day member at the modest cost of £5, plus £8 per person entry fee. Otherwise the site is open to the public at a cost of £10 per head."
I don't get why we have to be a member of the club to bring our car in?
Maybe something to do with insurance.
Don't bring your TVR and save money
It's only a pound; I will be there.

Glyn,
What's the score with post 80's? Have we a segregated parking area, what will it cost us?
Plan is to come up to see you around 10 and leave 12 ish to get to the Chimfest (which the Griffs are invading).
See you up there. Taimar well dead so will be in one of the Griffs.

The car park is very secure with on-site staff watching over, also there is an area set aside for post 80's cars.
£16 for car club members or a tenner each on the museum entrance.
See you there matey.

Stig, you are quite right about the insurance issue...can't get round it I'm afraid.
Just to add the Museum is worth the entrance fee alone.

So is that £16 per car or per person? Not bothered about the museum as will only be there a couple of hours before nipping over to Chimfest.
Can we just park in the public car park, look at the Tivs and then shoot off? There are a few of us coming up and it sounds an expensive few hours - I can look at about 10 pre 80's cars in Adrians lock up plus the Taimar every day!!! Really do want to come but begrudge spending £16 each.

Paul,
Sorry bit of confusion...just took it that you and the missus were coming, its £8 each to get in and all the pre 80's cars will be inside the museum area, you can view over the fence but it won't have the same effect! The Time Line will be down by the period biuldings past the pub so you'll really need to come in to see that. If you want to say hello to Martin Lilley and Mike Bigland they will probably be in the pub anyway by the sound of things...and if its pissing it down we'll all be in the pub...
Cheers matey.
Glyn.
