That must have been the Silver one that went to Albion Cars, and the other was bought by my father (400-6-050, Red, KFR201D)http://www.anglocars.be/index.php?option=com_autos...

It looked real stunning when he bought it, but technically it had been neglected, so he had it restored. Now, some 60k€ later, she's black and cosmetically and technically immaculate. A real handful to drive, and extremely frightening when you spoil her with some fresh air.
Here are some photos of my 1965 Griffith 200 taken back in the day (1972) in Rochester New York. Also a link to my restoration photos. Enjoy...

This particular car was the very first Right Hand Drive Griffith to be built by the factory. The car was used as demonstrator by racing driver Gerry Marschall for the Barnett Motor Company. In late 1965 it was sold to the celebrated film and TV stuntman Colin Skeaping. After damaging the car in 1966 Colin Skeaping returned the car to the factory in 1967 to have it uprated with new body and chassis to 400 specifications. In the August 2001 issue of Classic Cars magazine a 5-page feature on this particular car was published. Fitted with correct and recently rebuilt 289 engine and side-loader gearbox.
