while at a supplier picking up some parts for my restoration the talk turned to what the parts where for
when i mentioned tvr he said that his friend had had one in the garage for 20 years and it was in walking distance
what i found was an early mga engined grantura {still runs} on wire wheels appears to be complete and not in to bad a condition although it would definatly be a doer up and he wants to sell it
if anyone is interested i am going back there tues/wens and could have a better look

as i say i am going back on about tues /wens
i dont know that much about tge early cars but i can find out some info and parhaps get a photo
did not meet the owner just his friend who had access to tHe garage\
car looks complete and origanal what would be a good price fo an early grantura in need of restoration {bit old for my taste}and i will see what kind of figure he is after

WENT BACK TODAY CAR IS A 1965 GRANTURA 1800S WITH AN MGB ENGINE
IT IS IN NEED OF A TOTAL RESTORATION BUT DOES LOOK COMPLETE
BUT THE OWNER WHO I HAVE NOW MEET SEEMS TO HAVE AN IDEA THAT THE CAR IS OF HIGH VALUE
ANY IDEAS ON THE VALUE OF OF THIS CAR
