First episode up today, going to watch tonight.

It looks like there may be something to fill the Banshee sized hole in my televisual life.

Exactly my thoughts, Banshee with a touch of Lucifer thrown in, liking it so far.

I haven't been able to watch tonight. A couple of friends have given it the thumbs up.
Banshee crossed with Lucifer sounds a good mix though.

Well that was EPIC.
Not one but THREE incredible action scenes to introduce each main character.
And clearly Amazon/AMC aren't shying away from some ultra-violence!

yes

No fking about with any of those three.

This has the potential to entertain greatly.

Excellent entertainment, genuinely funny and Joseph Gilgun was on top loony form.

Great potential.

Jury is out on this one. I'll give it a few more episodes to see. Wasn't feeling it for a lot of the first episode, although it seemed to get a bit stronger toward the end.

It was interesting.
Enjoyed seeing Woody from This is England.
Certainly prepared to give it another couple of episodes at least.

First half an hour a bit of a mess but improved massively in the second half. Definite potential for something interesting, Banshee meets Constantine pretty much sums it up for me.

I just wish I understood more than the occasional word coming out of Cassidy's mouth, he's harder to understand than Arseface and he gets subtitles. smile

This does indeed look promising. Rather coincidently another new US series started the day before Preacher which is also in the same genre and is equally as good, Outcast. It's written by the same guy who writes The Walking Dead so has great pedigree.

Philip Glenister in the role of a southern priest, it's must-watch telly if only for that.

Hadn't realised that Outcast had started. Good shout. Excellent comic.

On the Fox channel on Sky, first episode available now, series starts 7 June. Sounds promising, will give it a try.

A bit all over the place to start but I expect it will be clear later on why it was so. Interesting start and characters look forward to the next episode.

Assuming you have Prime, 'Hap and Leonard' is also worth a look.

I watched Preacher last night and I'm undecided. I generally like TV interpretations of comics but I'm not sure about this one.

I did like their interpretation of Arseface though.
