After a shorter break from the carnage at Snetterton I hope everybody is ready for the trip north of the border!
All info here including a circuit timetable (TV will differ slightly): http://www.btcc.net/calendar/knockhill/
Qualifying from 15:40 to 16:10 on Saturday which will be watchable online here: http://www.btcc.net/live-zone/
Important touring car race times are:
Race 1: 11:50
Race 2: 14:17
Race 3: 17:12
Early news is the Kelvin Fletcher is out and Dave Newsham in for this weekend only, as Fletcher is expecting the birth of his first child. Newsham should impress here really. http://www.btcc.net/2016/08/09/newsham-in-for-flet...

Agreed, the queues start early (and the bacon rolls are generally pretty decent by burger van standards!). That said, it tends to be the queue to leave at the end of the day that is really awful. I notice that they're putting on a finishing gig at the hairpin again this year (indeed, it's the same Blondie tribute band). They were actually very good, and we were happy to have stood and watched that instead of sitting in the car for an hour getting frustrated.
One thing I'm curious about - when I was up at the SMRC meeting last month, I noticed the wee forest behind Scotsman and Butcher's has been logged - I'm wondering if they're planning on building some alternative car parking. Fingers crossed...

Turks for the first race and Sheddon will bag the second. The Honda goes well here and Sheddon has a massive home advantage.
I don't know if I'd say it's a "massive" home advantage - he obviously knows the track like the back of his hand, but plenty of drivers on the grid have been coming here for years as well, and it's not like there's that much track to learn in the first place!swooshiain said:

It's also abit different going round in say the Leon track cars compared to a Btcc car too Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
