Does anybody know when Jensen is releasing his book of excuses, lol...
He is getting a bit beyond a joke this season I feel !!
I imagine that towards the end of the season he will be releasing his excuses for the next race at the end of the one he has just finished
You can see from a mile away the Honda package just isn't up there with the rest.
Jensen's good enough.

Or the FIA making him use the same excuse for 2 races

Why didn't he take the points though, okay at least he won't drop ten places for the next race start but surely points in the bag would have been the better option??
...I agree, it was either a bad call or a misunderstanding!
points in the hand etc.
The team told him to stop before the line, engine failure after a race has finished gets you a 10 place grid penalty for the next race, Coulthard got caught out by this in Bahrain. I guess they thought 4 points here and 11th best on the grid next time or no point here and front row (he's averaging 2nd in qualifying this year). Next race in San Marino where he always goes well and if it's warmer the car should use it's tyres better.
Jenson is in the same situation Mark Webber was in last year - exceptional qualifying performances making his race performances look poor when infact they are not - Jenson is driving the wheels off the car in the races but its just not fast enough. If you qualifying faster than your car then you are bound to move down the order in the races.
Webber would have been on the podium today- on a 1 stop I think. Williams are quick again, but too fragile, we are slower than Reno and McLaren, but quicker than the rest on long runs.
Button is locked into a long deal with Honda now, if he'd have gone to Williams he'd have had a quicker car, more respect etc. and have been able to take on a drive at McLaren or Reno for 2007.
I think Kimi and Webber will be at Reno next yr. McLaren will have Alonso and Montoya.
Favourite moments- Michael getting lost in the Toyota garage. Pat Symonds holding his head looking at Fisi's laptimes.

Glad to hear some support for Button. He did some great defensive work against the Renault which always seems to be really strong on the starts!
Really enjoyed the race, just wish Jenson had more luck and would have been nice to see Kimmi and Alonso wheel to wheel at the end (they are the two fastest blokes on the circuit in my opinion).

Yep...but he already had good points!
I think Button is doing a good job. The car is just not good enough to challenge for a win, and he is pushing it further up the field than it really deserves.
Its so obviously a car problem and not him, the way his performance drops when he has to slow for any reason, is shocking. They really need to get the front tyres working more rather than relying on the downforce to work them.
