Hi there,

Heres some of mine, was at the track for the Saturday afternoon warm up but left before the start. Was going to pop back early this morning but woke up at 2am with a trapped nerve in my neck rage couldn't drive let alone stand for hours trying to shoot fast moving cars.

Never mind still pretty pleased with my shots. (please click to view un-squashed versions)

Hope you like the pics.

Regards

Tim

We are always glad to see anyone with an interest in the team, the sport or just to duck in and avoid the rain smile as long as we're not up to our neck in grease with bits of broken car then feel free to wander in say hi and snap away smile

You might need a wide angle lens for some in the team though! wink

Cheers
Darren (Topcats racing)

Likewise we had people in the garage for most of the weekend. We'd just ask that they respect we're there to do a job so if we ask them to move they need to move, but otherwise then they are very welcome. Was sorry (even if it did play into our hands!) to see the Marcos drop out Darren - frustrating after such a strong performance. What happened to Andrew's Mosler?

Tim, the Mosler finally succumbed to a stone damaged oil cooler which started a small fire near the engine, have to say the marshalls did a great job of limiting the damage. We were gutted when the Marcos gave up the ghost but to have led such a big race for 8 hours was great for the team and a credit to our drivers, all of whom did a great job. The Mosler, for the best part, performed impeccably, was driven extremely well with some very consistent lap times, we did have a few issues we managed to overcome during the race the oddest being a broken throttle spindle, a huge thanks go to Team Tiger for letting us use the one off their Mantis. Would like to say thanks to all those that supported us and also well done to all those that took part in what is fast becoming a major event.

My first Britcar 24hrs and I can safely say it won't be my last!
Bad news about Andy Neate, best wishes to his family and for Andy a speedy and full recovery.
A few photos from me , apologies for the 'sameness' but with a heavily strapped ankle, hobbling too and from Abbey nearly killed me, so I stopped a while whereever there was a gap in the fence!

For me by far the most stunning car on the track

great selection of pictures

anyone got any shots of our Beetle No 63?

we had a fabulous race and came 14th & 3rd in class, lost 20 minutes with a driveshaft failure and a puncture wasted some more time -- if only that had not happened a top 10 finish would have resulted - just incredible (racers excuse no 37a laugh)

special mention to MGA - Mike Gortons prep & pit team are immense and such friendly people to go racing with - thx guys & gals

Congrats on your third in class. smile

Although there with the Xero Competition Corvette, I have possibly 6 or so of the Beetle, although
I am still going through all my images.

Here is one - drop me a line.

A few from me, this was the first time I'd attended the 24hr race and was struggling a bit with a new camera, new lense and being the wrong side of the light! heres what I could muster from an enjoyable 24hr
