Yes a shame Kimi is allways very fuelled up, he doesn't often get to fight for pole.
It all goes to show that Kimi is not a proper F1 driver. He didn't moan about the incident, didn't walk down the pitland and throw a punch at LH, he didn't complain to the FIA, Bernia, Mosely, or the RSPCA. It seems he even accepted LH's apology. I mean to say, it's almost as if he accepted that such incidents might happen.I do like Kimi.

Kimi has a wonderful arrive-and-drive mentality, though it's certainly not how I'd be if i was a driver. Schumacher wasn't the greatest driver ever just because he could pilot an f1 car, it was the dedication off the track that gave him the edge. If Kimi had the same style I can't help but feel he'd be even better...
Anyway, fuel speculation time.
With the tyre degradation issue and McLaren often harder on their tyres than Ferrari we have to assume this race is Kimis to take, so will be fueled slightly heavier than both silver cars.
Alonso will probably be a good few laps heavier than Lewis too as he knew he couldn't beat him on raw speed this weekend.

I would think all the front 4 will be light on fuel, based on the notion that the last thing they would have wanted going into qualifying was for the likes of Webber or Kubica to go in light and get themselves ahead of one of the championship contenders. They wouldn't take the chance, so I reckon we'll see quite a short first stint.
Big question is how co-operative Massa will be with Raikonnen trying to win the championship. On the one hand he's Raikonnen's team mate with no chance of winning it himself, on the other he wants to win his home GP, and most probably doesn't want to go into next season as a clear number 2 with the reigning world champion as a team mate.
McLaren have a big interest in favouring Hamilton as he's definitely staying next year while Alonso will almost certainly be taking his number 1, or not, to another team, but they can't penalise Alonso to the extent that it would benefit Raikonnen, and in the absence of any constructors points they presumably want a 1-2 in the drivers championship.
Fascinating race with more possibilties and important factors than any recent title decide! Will be watching with interest!

I think Ferrari and Mclaren can carry a lot of fuel without feeling threatened by any other teams, Massa has to be Favourite to win the race as both Mclarens would have to DNF to get the call about his "car problem", can Mclaren keep Alonso and Hamilton apart throughout the race?Big question is how co-operative Massa will be with Raikonnen trying to win the championship. Unless Massa is so short-fueled that he permanently loses the lead at his first stop.stephen300o said:

I don't think McLaren can but they both have a huge incentive for it not to end in a gravel trap! Alonso more so, but Hamilton can't afford to "do a Senna" and bank on Raikonnen not finishing first or second. If Raikonnen retires early then Hamilton doesn't need to, Alonso needs to gain 5 points on him to take the title. Alonso can't win in that way.The only thing that might cause this is blind stupidity on both their parts. Wouldn't rule it out!
Why would we need both McLarens out for MAssa to have to let Raikonnen through? If Hamilton scores less than 3, or Alonso less than 7 (ie 2nd place) Raikonnen can take the championship by winning the race. If both McLarens are out Kimi can take the title with 2nd and Massa win the race. The Ferrari dream! Haha
