Grid walk is open to all, it will probably be very busy but it'll be fun having so many on the grid, make sure oyu get to the gates in the GP paddock between garages 6 and 7 where the bridge used to be, in plenty of time.

Grandstands officially open are Woodcote and Pits Straight and the SRC club stand. There is plenty of viewing around the rest of the circuit from the banks on the inside and outside, especially good at night to head down to Stowe.
Hi David,

When you say the grid walk is open to all, I have a mob of grandchildren + their friends that are eager to be involved, under supervision of course, and with this lot, very closely monitored, can these mini racers also get to see the cars close up or is there an age limit for some bloody stupid elf and safety reason. rolleyes

Malcolm - will be good to see you. If you're stuck, we use a firm called Ambient Graphics (near Cambridge) and they have produced it for us. I've got their contact details if you need them.
Kevin,

Thanks, managed to find some, it's called 'Contra Vision' ... but the picture in my mind of the guys at Ambient Graphics plus wives and children with a big roll of vinyl poking pinholes in it made me smile smile

Well Looks like it's going to be a great weekend.

Myself and a mate have gone halves on a motorhome

and we're off to wear the bright orange all weekend.

I'm in the pits this year - after 2008 spent out in the wilds past beckketts and temperature just staying aobve freezing @ about 3am - it was way too cold ;-( My poor mate hasnt quite realised that yet ;-)

Anyway here's to a fun and overall safe weekend for everyone!

Simes.

Updated entry list, MJC F430 on there with the normal porsche boys on the entry list, so very quick car there then by the look of it! And no other cars have been lost except one of the chevrons so big entry list still smile

I see Kelvin Burt has joined Huffy and Bennett in the Musthill Aquila. That is a very strong driver line up. If it lasts, that will win...

Had a chat with Nigel last weekend about this at Forest Edge, they should be very strong indeed

Unless its a naming error? May be the difference between Leon Cupra Cup cars (the older shape cars) Leon SupaCopa's (look like the touring cars with effective aero and don't wear their tyres as hard either). Problem then is you can get anything from 300 to 450bhp out of either..... nice.

End of the day its the job of the teams to make sure they are in the right class not, Britcars.

We would gladly accept being uprated to class 2 and are getting rid of as much weight as possible and turning up the wick to try and scrape in but with all our endeavors we are still well within the class 3 power to weight ratio's, what a bugger !! need a bigger engine nuts

Still if they want volunteer's because class 2 only has about 4 cars, we'll move up, fancy our chances of a class win or at least a placing against this level of opposition even if they are much quicker.

Everyone and his uncle is in class 3 hehe

Chris, not sure if Britcar are running the new track layout as you may find the viewing at Abbey different from what you're expecting. Unless you've already been since they've changed the layout of course?

It’s on the Bridge GP circuit (old one)
And there is a nice new bump just in the breaking zone for abbey...... should be interesting in the dark if it rains

yeah they are running on the old GP circuit which is my personal favourite, cos with abbey that way you see lots of outbraking into abbey with brakediscs glowing and flame spitting, and then hear the cars echo through bridge to see who's got the balls to take it flatoutlol but ive been to silverstone about 15times so far this year so think ive got the best spots sorted for viewing :-)

Have the teams received their tickets and car parking passes yet? The reason for the question is that we haven't received ours yet.
