Extra lap per stint. Super kind on tyres. Fastest lap time.

The only element yet to be proven is reliability, everything else looks set.
Reliability has been the downfall of many a quick car at Le Mans. But, yes, I agree. yes

Porsche back to 13 laps per stop. Losing too much pace in order to save enough fuel for the 14 lap strategy.

Very smart of Audi, using the #7 to help the #8.

Porsche messing up with the lights. They must be kicking themselves. This is a huge boost for Toyota.

Schoolboy error not having a basic lamp on the door as a fallback.

I'm feeling for the Porsches at the moment with the light problems they're having but Toyota will be loving this. If they can keep their noses clean and don't have any bad luck they're in with a real shout.

Of course, there is still 17 odd hours left....

So why are Porsche unscrewing the underside of the car?

If any of you have an Apple TV, just download the WEC app and stream it to your tv. It's hd quality without any adverts.

The race is £6 I think to buy the whole lot.

Definitely worth it.
I'm able to see it on a TV this year, but previous years my typical approach has been to buy the Eurosport 1-month pass (£6), then select the international feed (no adverts, no commentary, just engine noise!), then run the radiolemans commentary over the top. Then add live timing and Autosport text feed for the full onslaught.

Two of the Fords, too.

There's a whole list of cars on the timing list with a race control message.

Apparently a major issue with the battery and they are doing a change. Apparently emergency alarms went off in the garage and the car came straight back in only one lap after Hartley got back in so perhaps they were at risk of blowing up or something yikes

Daft question but have the rules changed? I just watched the beached Aston recovered by a truck and returned to the pits whereupon they tidied it up and returned it to the race. I always thought that you had to recover back to the pits under your own steam (so to speak) else you were out? confused

A couple of LMP2s had a coming together.

As for why the Aston can continue, no idea.
