Hi, just wondered if you guys were still competing this weekend (unless i've missed a thread somewhere...!). Looking to head up and watch, just hope the weather is kind! Did you make up a full team of six in the end? Anyone else going to watch?

Cheers, Tony

The flag drops at 11:00 on saturday morning for 6 hours

The tasmin is almost ready. the engine fixed and the diff changed.

The Midget still needs a little work after its race last wekend, but nothing a few tins of filler and some paint can't fix

The Westfield and the Ginetta just need some PH stickers

Those of us comming to help out? Do we just park up in the "public" car parks, or should we put them somewhere else to avoid them being locked in if we leave a bit late?

Drive in through the main gate and head towards the paddock.

provided its not to stuffed enter the paddock and find us and well park you in the outer paddock from there..

if the paddock is to stuffed to get in. park by the diner and walk in to the pit garage

cheers

Ready to go - now have a blue bonnet again after Brands Hatch, with no sponsor logos on it, so acres of PH sticker space

Unfortunately our cunning ruse didn't work. The final instructions had me at 1:46 lap time which would have given us a good shot. Unfortunately we've been found out and had 40s removed . Still, fastest pedalling boots packed!

Ready to go too (I think - not seen the car since my last race at the end of August! )

I'm just hoping the weather stays dry, as it's not much fun driving around in a plastic bathtub when it's wet and cold!!

Really looking forward to it!

I'll aim to get up there before qualifying starts with my bag of spanners, thermos and gaffer tape (two colours - no expense spared). Is someone sorting the bacon sarnies? I'll have brown sauce please

I've also got a jerry can of 76 Racing rocket fuel (100 Octane) which will go off if its not used - anyone care for a glug? It seems a shame to use it to light the bonfire the week after...

Finally, should I bring my pixie boots and romper suit in case anyone gets tired

Were taking the old chaps caravan as the hostility suite

so i'll make sure we have some bacon buns and some pies for ted...

100 octane sounds yummy im sure we can find a home for that...

CHuck the romper suit in you never know... you could even get to find out what its like to drive a real tvr :heheh: power is nothing without control and in a tamin there is no power and no control

I perhaps should explain that by 'bag of spanners' I of course do not mean the faithful and dependable Tuscan No 6.

Sadly No 6 will be staying at home, awaiting collection by his new owner

Weather forecast is looking good, and looking at the entry list, it should be a really interesting race!

Good luck you lot! Was just doing a google to find gate ticket prices and stumbled on this thread. I’ll be there with harrow CC. But only got one ticket. Does any one know the entry cost?

it might be a good idea to take a portable tv, as last time i went there was a tv piont in the garage, where you could get lap times etc.

Right,

Remembered to pick up the numbers. Brimmed the jerry cans, Romber suit and new, improved pink race boots packed and the bbc says its going to be sunny all day (must go and find a brolley).

Too late to worry about what I've forgotton to pack. See you guys in the morning.
